What a year 2010 has been! I've been so busy traveling and working, I've barely had time for friends at home. Let me tell you, this is the month that makes catch up easy! December is chalk full of Holiday parties at my every turn. Luckily (or maybe not!) I have the chance to be hands on with one very important party!
The most important party of the year is a charity event my friends throw every year. Every year for a debatable 12 years, my friends have thrown a Christmas party for the US Marines and the Toys for Tots. I'm ecstatic to be a part of it this year! Last year we had more than 600 people. This year, I don't think that number is possible, because we started less than 2 weeks to the party when I found out no one had time to put it together. Here I am! It's a tradition- something that cannot be stopped.
I am proud to announce that next week on December 23rd we will be holding the 12th Annual Toys for Tots Christmas Party in downtown Columbia. If you can make it and wish to make a contribution, please feel free to contact me at 803-422-4700 or donnareed [at] live.com for more information.
A special thanks to our event hosts:
Doug Forbes, George Crouch, Mark Whelchel, Hance Oliver, Craig Harkey, Pete Beaudette, Henry Johnson, Stan Hodges, Carroll and Lynette Koon, David Forbes, Frank Mims, Tim Brunet, Barry Avant, Marcus Brakeen, Donna Reed, Rick Patel, Ryan Lane, David Jeffcoat, Sam Caldwell, Mark Fowble, Todd Lewis, Tim Reese, Morgan Faulkenberry, Jason and Katy Watkins
